These decisions are deeply personal and very difficult to make. I don't think I could live with myself if my son had a bad reaction to a vaccine that I forced him to take, but then again, how would I feel if he got the swine flu and I could have prevented it? Of course, there is no right or wrong answer. Our responsibility as parents is to do what we think is BEST for our child. I commend both of you for doing what you think is right. He's too young for the mist, so I'm waiting for the injection. I've only done light research on it because my wife is a PharmD and I trust her opinion not only as a pharmacist, but as my son's mother. It is a difficult decision for parents to make, but we tend to err of the side of caution when it comes to all vaccines.
